The device has 2 channels, each with an analog output for controlling the 3-way mixer valve (0 to 10 V) of a heating or cooling circuit. The device also has a relay output (5 A) for switching the circulation pump. The status of the pump can be monitored via 3 binary signal inputs (via potential-free contacts) and this feedback can be included in the control of the pump. The flow and return temperatures are measured and used by the integrated controller to calculate the valve control value. The setpoint is received via the KNX bus. Channel bundling makes it possible to control systems with double pumps. The HCC/S 2.1.2.1 has an easy-to-use on-site control. The ABB i-bus tool can be used for extended diagnostic functions and improved commissioning.
