Pendant lights - Find the right pendant light or hanging light at eibabo®. Our extensive lighting catalog leaves nothing to be desired. Read on to learn about the different styles, colors, materials and sizes. In addition, you will receive conventional light sources or economical LEDs to match.Where are pendant lights used? When we think of pendant lights, the place above the dining table comes to mind as a classic place of use. And indeed, pendant lights are often mounted above tables such as the dining table or coffee table and, as ceiling lighting, create atmospheric light when eating or socializing. But pendant lights are also decorative alternatives in other places. Think of a counter in a bar, the reception area of the doctor's office or the reception desk in a hotel. With a bit of creativity and stylistic sensitivity, you can turn pendant lights into full-fledged furnishings that create atmosphere and enhance your ambience. Pendant lights are even used in industrial workshops. However, these are technically and optically optimized for these applications.Image: Fischer & Honsel 69540 LED pendant lightWhat should be considered when installing pendant lights?Remember that pendant lamps need a reference point in order to look their best. Suspended anywhere in the room, pendant lights usually look out of place. Pendant lights can be ideally adapted to the spatial conditions. With high ceilings, the length of the suspension can often be adjusted manually. A distance of around 60 to 80 cm above the edge of the table has proven to be the ideal height for lights above the dining table. Of course, this can vary depending on taste and the size of the lamp. You should make sure that your new pendant lamp has a lampshade in order to form a cone of light and direct the brightness optimally to the desired area. As a result, other areas are not or only diffusely illuminated and the light is not perceived as disturbing.our recommendationAvoid pendant lights in rooms with low ceilings and bathrooms. Use ceiling spotlights or recessed spotlights instead. For cheap and stylish spotlights and recessed lights, please select the appropriate category here in the shop.Smaller pendant lights with a small lampshade look particularly stylish when placed above bedside tables, your bar or a side table. Many of our pendant lights are also available in versions with multiple light sources, so that you can easily implement uniform illumination of larger tables or longer areas. How big should a pendant light be?For a successful look, it is advisable to follow a few basic stylistic rules, especially in the private sphere. These relate to:the size/diameter or circumference of the pendant light in relation to the room sizethe installation height in relation to the room height It is assumed that lamps that are too large or too small disturb the harmonious overall impression. Calculating the rough guideline is quite simple:(Length of the room in meters + width of the room in meters) x 10 = the optimal diameter of the pendant light in centimetresIt is clear that very few lights consist of a sphere and therefore the diameter cannot always be used as a reference. Alternatively, the circumference calculated from this can be used, for example if the pendant light consists of several spheres or has an elongated shape. An example:(Room length 5.5 meters + room width 4.5 meters) x 10 = 100 centimeters in diameter or 314 centimeters in circumferenceOf course you can also deviate from this. Other influencing factors often also play a role in the decision. For example, whether the floor plan of the room is very simple or complex, or whether there is already a lot of furniture in the room. The height of the pendant lamp should not be more than one third of the distance from the floor to the ceiling. With a ceiling height of 3 meters, this is 1 meter. For classic living room heights of around 2.7 meters, 50 to 70 cm should be chosen so that the height to the floor is at least 2 meters. Are pendant lights also suitable as workplace lighting? The lighting effect of pendant lights results from the design, the light source used and the positioning of the light. In this way, you can influence whether the effect of the lighting should be more direct or more indirect, or whether the light should be diffused or directed. You can also use pendant lights in the company as office lighting or workplace lighting. Of course, the requirements for optimal lighting in the workplace are high, but with the right shape and suitable lamps, this can be implemented without any problems. TIP:If necessary, such pendant lights for the office can be equipped with a grid or diffuser in front of the light source. These emit a glare-free light on the work area. Use pendant lights in an elongated design if they are to be placed directly above the desk. LED strips ensure even light distribution over the entire length. This ensures that the pendant lights used do not cast any lateral shadows and that the entire work area is optimally illuminated. The higher the light source, the wider the irradiated area and the lower the illuminance on the floor and work surface. To ensure the desired light intensity, you should adjust the height of your pendant lights correctly. Never place them lower than two meters so that employees do not accidentally hit their heads. What advantages do pendant lights offer? The main advantage of pendant lamps is the ability to place light sources at the right height. This is especially useful when organizing lighting on dining tables, kitchen worktops, warehouses, machine rooms, workshops and industrial halls where the rooms typically have high ceilings. Another plus is the easy installation. How a pendant light is attached depends on its design. Usually 1 to 2 suspension points are required. Particularly large and heavy models can also have more suspension points. Whether for private use or commercial use - pendant lights are available in countless variants, colours, price ranges and designs. There are both classic and creative pendant lights of various types on the market. The selection is so large that you are sure to find a model that suits you.Which bulbs should I use for pendant lights? When buying your new pendant light, don't just look at its appearance. Consider at the same time an economical, effective and powerful lighting effect. This is easily possible with LED pendant lights. Pendant lights with LED bulbs offer lower power consumption and a long service life. The LEDs are often permanently installed and cannot be replaced individually. But the use of energy-saving lamps is also recommended for pendant lights with replaceable lamps and classic screw sockets. Be sure to pay attention to the color temperature emitted by a light source. This is given in Kelvin (K). The higher the value, the more the color temperature shifts towards the blue. Daylight of around 5,500 Kelvin is recommended for use in laboratories, classrooms or in industry. This increases concentration and prevents fatigue. The somewhat warmer neutral white is generally used for offices. For comparisonCandlelight has a color temperature of around 1500 Kelvin. Lamps with a color temperature between 2200 and 2700 Kelvin are the right choice for a cozy atmosphere at the dining table.By the way:The chandelier is considered the forerunner of the modern pendant lamp. This was typically a multi-level lamp made of copper or iron, which was hung on chains and sometimes equipped with numerous candles. Magnificent accessories made of glass and crystal reflected the candlelight and thus optimized the light output.  Catalogue content:In this eibabo® catalogue Luminaires > Pendant luminaire you will find items from the following product groups:Item overview:Ceiling lampDining table lampDirect lightFlat lampGlass downlightInterior lightsKitchen lightLamp pendantLED linear systemLine of lightLinearLiving lightLiving room lampLiving room pendant lightMicroprism lampMounted lightOpal glass lampOpal glass lightsOutdoor lightingOval lampPendant lampPendant lamp modulePendant lightsPhase railPull pendant lightTrunking systemsVDU workstation lightWall lampfrom the following manufacturers:Manufacturer overview catalogue Pendant lights:AbalightArcliteAura LightBEGA GantenbrinkBrumbergBöhmerEgloESYLUXFabas LuceFischer & HonselHelestra LeuchtenHonselHoubenHufnagelLEDVANCELichtlineLTSNeuhaus LeuchtenNobileOligoOpple LightingPerformance in LightPhilips LichtRegioluxRidi-LeuchtenRZBScharnberger+Has.Schmitz-LeuchtenSchneiderSignify PLSSitecoSLVSun CracksTriluxTrio-LeuchtenWaldmannZumtobel

Tactile sensor - Smart, individual, simple, extravagant, futuristic - touch sensors, also known as KNX buttons, like to attract admiring glances and their modern design alone suggests to every user that this is more than a conventional light switch. Rockers, glowing LEDs, small symbols or even LCD displays give an idea of the numerous functions hidden behind many an installation. In addition, there is often a very noble selection of materials such as high-quality metal, acrylic or glass, which always exudes a touch of extravagance. But why are multifunctional touch sensors needed and how do you use their potential optimally? We give you a brief insight here. The basics in a nutshellTouch sensors are multifunctional control elements for the smart home. The design and function selection is huge, from a single button to a control center with 12 or more buttons, everything is possible. You can use it to control, for example, the light, its dimming, blinds, heating, entertainment center, door opener and all other devices in your home network. The button functions can be assigned individually and can be easily reprogrammed if necessary.Integrated LEDs or other displays often show the respective operating status or provide information about errors.   What is a touch sensor or a KNX button? You can operate the end devices integrated in your smart home network with a touch sensor or a KNX button. This can be blinds that you can raise and lower - light that you dim - the heating that you regulate or completely individual, user-defined scenarios. Depending on the model, operation is optically individual. In general, it is operated using a different number of buttons or rocker switches and/or even displays. The different types of KNX buttonsUsing a KNX universal button interface, you can basically turn any conventional button into a KNX button. These interfaces are installed in a deep device box behind the standard button and thus take on the task of the binary input, which converts the classic switching processes into KNX signals.Which doses are suitable? To do this, use a branch switch box with 4 screw domes or a deep switch box or an electronics box. Use our eibabo® search to quickly find the right item. This solution is particularly suitable for the standard application 'basic lighting' per room (see: 'What are standard applications?') or for the modernization of existing installations as well as for inexpensive and functionally manageable system extensions.'Real' KNX tactile sensors are much more complex and range up to control elements with elegant touch displays. Temperature sensors, LED displays and background lighting are often already combined in one device. In contrast to the simple interface variant, there is often the option of providing each key with additional functions, which are then triggered, for example, by a long press, double-click or even triple-click. TIP:We recommend planning well in advance so that you can later fit all the functions you need into your keypad. While some KNX push-button sensors require a separate bus coupler to which they are plugged, the bus coupler is already integrated in others. The eibabo® technology store also has both complete KNX pushbuttons and pushbutton sensor modules. The latter is 'only' about the technology and you can choose a matching design cover yourself. The possibilities are diverse - you can choose exactly what suits your project. The advantages and disadvantages of tactile sensorsThe central control of a large number of actions on different end devices is certainly the greatest advantage. The plus in comfort is combined with the flexible options for changing and expanding a well-planned setup. The disadvantage is certainly the slightly higher acquisition costs of a smart home solution compared to a conventional electrical installation. In the case of units with many keys and each assignment with different control variables (print, double-click), the overview of all the functions and their control can easily be lost.Unusual application examples in everyday lifeWe have already mentioned a few classic use cases. In the course of our more than 25 years of work, we have also been able to implement 'very special' projects. It starts with the smart opening and locking of the cat flap in the basement, continues with the choreographed lighting of exterior facades and doesn't end with the automatic pool cover, the fully automated aquarium or the heated driveway in winter.  You want to know more? We answer frequently asked questions.Nobody knows everything and sometimes there are small ambiguities that prevent us from correctly grasping connections or from deciding on one or the other product. You may also find an answer to your question in the following topics. How are the KNX devices programmed? Many interested parties are quickly startled by the term 'programming', but it's not that difficult at all, because it's not actually programmed with the 'ETS', but assignments and parameterizations are carried out. What does ETS mean for KNX?The term ETS (Engineering Tool Software) means that it is programming software for commissioning the KNX devices. The tool is more of a software for parameterization and basically also suitable for laypersons with an interest in the logic of the KNX.No programming knowledge or programming language is required. If you are interested in the rather simple logical connections of the KNX bus, you are in a position to create a project. Of course, more complex projects require a certain amount of experience. We always recommend having the basic project created by an experienced system integrator. This allows you to easily change important parameters yourself later on, since many things change in the life cycle.Which touch sensor or KNX button should I buy?Well, we can't give a general answer to this question, but we can perhaps provide some impetus for decision-making. KNX push button sensors are available in a variety of designs. The manufacturers offer solutions for every taste. However, you should not only be guided by the optics. In addition to the optics, eibabo® also recommends checking the applications (parameters and functions) provided by the manufacturer for the ETS (Engineering Tool Software). Significant deficits can open up here in the course of a project if the beautiful button were not able to control the necessary actions correctly. Plan exactly which requirements you place on the respective push button sensor and then select a suitable model accordingly. NOTE:ETS is standardized software for commissioning the KNX devices and can be obtained from www.knx.org. With regard to the design, you should also rely on optics that have a positive effect in the long term and not follow every short-term trend, only to realize a few years later that the brightly colored displays and the LEDs for various status messages on the buttons in the wall were a bit too much of a good thing. It makes sense to ensure that displays can be dimmed or configured in different brightness levels and status LEDs can be configured and switched off. A timeless surface design, for example, has simple elegance, looks classy, is durable and has no playful rockers that could quickly gather dust. How do I recognize whether a touch sensor already has a bus connection? Some touch sensors already have a bus connection. If you're not sure, a look at the back will clarify.Image: KNX push button sensor - Jung 4047TSMA touch sensor is equipped with a bus coupling if it has a black and red (or gray and red) terminal for the bus on its back. This 4-wire terminal with plug-in terminal connection serves as a distributor for up to four KNX lines. How do I keep track of the individual functions of complex touch sensors? We would like to encourage you to think: Imagine you come into a room and have to press the small second rocker from the top left on an 8-way pushbutton sensor every day to switch on the basic lighting. It can quickly happen that you accidentally set the pressure point on the adjacent rocker and unfortunately operate the blinds at 11:00 p.m. Not to mention how a guest or child is supposed to cope with it.So it can indeed be a bit difficult to always steer correctly. But: The advantages of the KNX lie in the intelligence of the system, which is implemented by the system integrator based on their experience and your functional requirements. For this reason, you should arrange functions logically or thematically and, if necessary, group them on easy-to-use buttons. If necessary, it is advisable to divide standard applications and detailed circuits into different buttons at different mounting heights. What are default applications? What is the best way to implement this into the system? The first switch box is usually placed on the 1.05m upper edge of the finished floor. At this point you should mount a conventional double button and connect it twice to the bus via a very inexpensive KNX button interface. Of course, you can also mount 2 or 3 double buttons and integrate a 4-way or 6-way KNX button interface. A deep switch box or electronics box is installed as a flush-mounted box in order to be able to place the small button interface behind the double button. Here you save!Combine a KNX button interface with a conventional double button. With the conventional double button, you have more choice in the design of the switch range and, in the event of defects or design changes, you can obtain a lifetime replacement without having to reprogram. You can assign the most important and most frequently used basic lighting to this button or parameterize the button or the button interface with light scene recall. A beautiful flat switch is also very easy to use for guests and children. What is meant by detailed switching on the KNX button? You should mount detailed circuits of the certainly many functions in a room on the 1.60m upper edge of the finished floor and call them up from a room controller or multiple push-button sensor with an optionally integrated room temperature controller (see also our multiple control unit catalogue). A room temperature controller already requires this mounting height for optimal control. At this user-friendly height, you can then carry out all additional controls for additional lighting, blinds, roller shutters, entertainment, etc.Touch sensors wear out very quickly! Is that correct?Like all other technical components that are used more or less every day, tactile sensors and control points in general are subject to a certain amount of wear and tear. However, this is no different than with conventional buttons or switches. It is possible that individual parts that have been in use for a decade are then worn out.Does it make sense to control the heating using touch sensors?Definitely, as a rule, individual room heating controls are also required for KNX installations. In terms of value for money, the combined buttons with room temperature controllers are the best choice, also in terms of user-friendliness.Which manufacturer offers the most beautiful and best KNX buttons?Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, we won't take a position on that. In terms of quality, however, all brands perform very well. There is no such thing as the 'best' touch sensor. Each manufacturer has its individual strengths in terms of applications (parameters and functions). eibabo® offers switches from all brand manufacturers (from ABB, Berker, Busch-Jaeger, Gira, Hager, Jung, MDT, Merten to Siemens). Select KNX push-button sensors in the following versions: KNX push-button sensor, KNX sensor unit, KNX wall sensor, KNX room control unit, KNX push-button sensor module, KNX push-button sensor extension module, KNX push-button 1-fold, KNX push-button 2-fold, KNX push-button 4-fold, KNX push-button 5-way, 6-way KNX button, 8-way KNX button, KNX control panel, KNX button with bus coupler, KNX button module, KNX touch sensor, KNX button sensor plus, KNX glass button.  Catalogue content:In this eibabo® catalogue Installation bus systems > Touch sensor for bus system you will find items from the following product groups:Item overview:Adapter frameBuilding controlBus couplerBus technologyButton couplerCabel CanalColor displayContactlessControl elementGlass buttonGlass sensorGroup button bus couplerLight scene touch sensorsNickel metallicOutdoor areaPendulum fanReceiving sensorRemote controlRemovable fanShutter buttonSingle rockerSplash proofTactile sensorsTemperature sensorTitle blockTouch sensorWireless pushbuttonWireless solutionfrom the following manufacturers:Manufacturer overview catalogue Tactile sensor:ABBAVM ComputersystemeBerkerbticinoBusch JaegerEatonElsnerESYLUXGiraHagerIssendorffJungLingg & JankeMaicoMDTMertenRopagSiemensTheben
Radio - Radio is still one of the most used media worldwide. It provides entertainment in the office or runs casually on the construction site. But even at home, the radio is an integral part of our everyday lives. In addition to the classic portable radios with CD players and clock radios, you can get them here in the eibabo® online shop:robust construction site radios that can withstand dirt and impactelegant and discreet flush-mounted radio components for your smart home installationportable radio recorders for children's rooms, teenagers' rooms or hobby roomsDAB+ digital radios and clock radios for the kitchen and bathroom Image: Makita DMR301 battery construction site radioWhat are construction site radios? Not everyone is lucky enough to be able to sit in a quiet office and listen to the radio. Many of us are on construction sites every day - road construction and civil engineering, building houses or other locations. But that doesn't mean you have to give up music. Because with entertaining rhythms, time flies by and work is easier to do. But a shell of a house, a metal workshop or the cab of an excavator are harsh environments for a radio. Dust, moisture, paint, glowing chips or impacts can quickly destroy the sensitive technology or damage the housing. But there are construction site radios for such locations. These are designed to be particularly robust and withstand the usual conditions that can occur during transport, in a workshop or on a construction site. Construction site radios are either operated with normal mains power, with standard batteries or in some cases even with compatible battery packs for cordless power tools. This makes the devices very flexible, so that they can also work outdoors on a remote construction site. Depending on the model, there are construction site radios with interfaces for connecting or with the option of wirelessly connecting external devices.A construction site radio differs from a standard radio in its robust construction. These feature protective reinforcements ranging from simple edge protectors to armor-like casings to full exoskeleton-like structures. All of this provides the protection you need should the radio fall down or bang around in the cargo area of the van. High weightDue to their construction, construction site radios are often comparatively heavy. Larger models can weigh over 10 kilograms. To facilitate portability, construction site radios usually have sturdy carrying handles. Typically, construction site radios offer separate buttons for on/off, function selection, radio setting and time display. The buttons and knobs are often rubberized and large so that they can be operated comfortably even with gloves. Some models have a dedicated mute button that allows you to quickly turn off the sound. This is very useful when the phone rings, for example. In addition to tuning in to your favorite radio broadcasts, many construction site radios can be fed via the appropriate interfaces from an additional device such as an MP3 player, smartphone, tablet or CD player. Sometimes even a docking station for the smartphone is integrated. The slots for SD memory cards or USB sticks can usually be closed with rubber covers. Of course, the connection is often also possible wirelessly via Bluetooth. In order to accommodate and protect the additional devices mentioned, many construction site radios offer built-in compartments including interfaces for connection. This is particularly useful when the radio is connected to the mains and you want to use it to charge your mobile phone. What are flush-mounted radios for Smart Home? The modern Smart Home building automation stands for the interaction of entertainment electronics, lighting technology and air conditioning technology as well as security systems. Their use can:save energySignificantly increase the protection of a residential building, commercial or storage areaimprove living comfort and conditions at work In the field of consumer electronics, the eibabo® shop offers you discreet, digital flush-mounted radios that can be easily integrated into your system, controlled centrally or decentrally and connected to the Internet via interfaces. This means that every family member has the opportunity to listen to their favorite tunes, radio plays, podcasts or foreign language courses according to their individual taste. Alternatively, the same music plays throughout the house. What is special about the flush-mounted radios is their size and shape. The devices, like the corresponding loudspeakers, are integrated into switch boxes. As a result, they fit almost invisibly into the house installation and offer networked home entertainment at the highest level. Of course, connectivity is also a key aspect here. External devices can be connected to the radios via Bluetooth. What does digital radio and DAB+ mean?Enjoy your favorite music at home anytime or stay informed by news and podcasts. But what is digital radio anyway and how does it differ from classic analogue radio?Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB) is a technology that broadcasts digital radio programs. The idea of digital radio came at the end of the 1980s when there were no longer enough free slots for all stations in the regular VHF band. DAB was developed as a digital standard in which more stations can be placed through more efficient coding. DAB has therefore been around for a very long time. The first DAB station was launched in 1995 and the first DAB+ station started broadcasting in 2007. DAB technology is currently used mainly in Europe and differs from analog FM radio in that it can be received anywhere. There are of course technical differences between DAB+ and the usual FM. With VHF, each transmitter transmits independently via radio waves, the range of which is limited. The reception is therefore dependent on the location and the set reception frequency. No radio waves are sent with DAB+. The transmitted digital signals are combined into so-called data frames. Various frequency channels are provided so that different countries can select those which are free from other services. It is thus comparable to the television program, where you can switch between the channels without having to first tune to a specific wavelength. In the past, the transmitters themselves received a license for one frequency for analogue broadcasting. Nowadays, the license is given to a data frame operator and they lease the channels to the radio stations. That is why DAB also has a disadvantage for the listener. The rental of a channel depends on the bit rate of the transmission. So it is cheaper to send with a low transmission rate than with a high one. Thus, as a rule, the optimal or best possible quality is not broadcast.Who Invented the Radio? Finally, a small digression into the history of radio. Heinrich Hertz's proof of the existence of electromagnetic waves formed the basis for the later development of radio. But before the technology was used for entertainment, it was used for the wireless transmission of radio telegrams in the form of Morse code signals.Already knewIn 1899, a radio signal was used for the first time to save people from death. It was a group of fishermen floating on an ice floe near the island of Gotland. The invention of the radio is thus a continuous further development of radio technology, on which Heinrich Hertz, Nicola Tesla, Guglielmo Marconi, Oliver Lodge and Alexander Popov researched separately and independently between 1890 and 1905. So there is no forefather of radio. Each of these scientists contributed to it.We deliver construction site radios, smart home flush-mounted radios, travel radios, clock radios, world receivers and kitchen radios to you worldwide. Multiple control unit - Would you like to be able to conveniently regulate and control sensors and actuators in your smart home from a central location? Very easily. With multiple operating devices from the eibabo® online shop, you are opting for the best quality and high-quality workmanship. Typically, an individual assignment of different functions is possible. The eibabo® shop stands for excellent value for money. What is a multiple operator panel?Multiple operating devices are items, mostly KNX push-button sensors, which are equipped with special functions. These are, for example, infrared interfaces or room temperature controllers to implement extensive detailed circuits. TIP:The installation on the wall takes place at approx. 1.60 m upper edge of the finished floor. This simplifies operation and integrated sensors (e.g. for the room temperature) deliver optimal measurement results. Multiple operating devices often have rocker switches to which you can assign different function inputs at the same time, for example switching the light and adjusting the room temperature. You will also find specific special devices in this eibabo® catalogue. These can be special KNX displays or KNX touch operating devices with special additional functions.Which functions can I map with a multiple operator panel?Depending on the manufacturer, multiple operating devices differ in terms of design, quality, user guidance and scope of the application (software). While simple devices only have the classic basic functions, complex models resemble real 'control centers' for the visualization and operation of various building automation systems. A little overview:When used as a KNX room operating device, the focus is on switching, pressing, dimming as well as controlling blinds and roller shutters. In addition, there is the temperature measurement and temperature control, optionally with different operating modes, switching times or protective circuits against frost and heat. In addition, the control of air conditioning and ventilation systems may be possible. Background lighting, status displays and displays for the date, time and temperature make operation easy. But such a multiple operating device can do even more. TIP:We recommend good advance planning so that you can later accommodate all the functions you need in your multiple control panel. As a security station, for example, you can open and close doors or use the intercom function. Cameras can also be switched if a screen is integrated or connected. You can also implement the operation of the alarm system or in-house communication (internal call, storey call). If required, you can also use such a device as a client for external SIP systems (VoIP communication). With the integration of Internet services, you are able to call up weather data and weather forecasts, web radio and streaming services. Are the multiple operator panels with touch displays better than the simple models with buttons? All models have their advantages and disadvantages. There is basically no better or worse. Much more important is whether a device is suitable for the intended use or not. The range of functions and the operation of the functions play a decisive role. If you would like to operate two to three basic functions, a device designed for this purpose with two to six buttons is sufficient. You assign the respective function to them via Engineering Tool Software (ETS) or proprietary software. If you want to keep the option open for additional functions, a device with a display would be recommended. Depending on the model, you often have the option of providing each button with additional functions. You can trigger this, for example, with a long press, double-click or triple-click. In this way, you can later assign additional keys or expand the range of functions of the device. A display provides an overview. As a communication center for an entire building, we recommend a solution with a touch display. This allows you to organize dozens of parameters clearly using a menu structure. The advantages and disadvantages of multiple operating devicesThe biggest advantage is the central regulation and control of a large number of actions. In addition, you can react comfortably and flexibly to changes and expansions. The architecture of the electrical installation must be well thought out beforehand, especially in the case of a new building or a building renovation. In this way you can later use all desired functions optimally. The disadvantage lies in the higher acquisition costs of such a system compared to individual, conventional devices. With units without a display, with many keys and multiple key assignments, it is easy to lose track.Do all multiple operating devices have an integrated bus connection?Multiple operating devices are designed as part of an automated building structure and usually have an integrated bus connection. This can be recognized by the red and black or red and gray Bus Terminal. Some devices are not equipped with a bus coupler and are plugged onto a separate flush-mounted bus coupler, for example. How are multiple operator panels attached? If you look at the back of the various multiple operator panels, you will notice that they can look different. Many models are designed for installation in one or more switch boxes, whereby the actual attachment can be individual. Please pay attention to a suitable system for you. Devices with a plastic ring and clamps (on the left in the picture) only offer a secure hold if the ring lies firmly and flush against the wall. Small bumps in the plaster or a switch box that protrudes a little too far are not compensated for. This can cause the device to wobble. Screw other devices directly into the switch box. This connection is more stable (middle picture). For some flush-mounted devices, you should use a deep switch box to have more space for connecting the cables (picture on the right).Image: Multiple operating devices mounting typesVariants without their own KNX connection are usually connected to a bus coupler permanently installed in the switch box. These are also securely fastened. If you are planning to install it in a place that is accessible to strangers, we recommend a model with dismantling protection. How do I change the button assignment on multiple operator panels?Normally, the assignment of the key functions can be freely parameterized in the case of multiple operator panels. This is typically done with ETS, the Engineering Tool Software. This is a tool that you need to commission the KNX devices. You can obtain the software from www.knx.org. The ETS is used to parameterize your system and is generally suitable for laypersons who are interested in the logic of the KNX. No programming knowledge is required to make changes to the key assignment. An understanding of simple logical connections is sufficient. We recommend having an experienced system integrator perform the initial setup and have them explain how the setup works. This way you will later be able to change small things yourself.Which multiple operator panel should I buy? That decision is up to you, but maybe we can help. There are numerous versions of KNX multiple operating devices. Manufacturers offer solutions that suit every taste or style of living. But don't let the looks alone guide you. We generally recommend studying the applications (parameters and functions) provided by the manufacturer for the commissioning software (ETS). This ensures that you are able to control the necessary actions via touch sensors or the display. Plan exactly which requirements you place on the multiple control device and decide on a suitable model at top conditions from our shop. TIP:Depending on the model, it is possible to set status LEDs depending on the ambient brightness. In a darkening room, the status LEDs automatically dim and do not disturb at night. In addition to the technical performance, the optics also play a role. Rely on shapes, colors and materials that have a positive effect in the long term. Think about whether you'll enjoy brightly colored displays or LEDs over the long term, or whether it should be more subtle. If possible, opt for dimmable displays or LEDs that can be switched off.High gloss or matteGlass or painted surfaces are beautiful to look at. Note that dirt and fingerprints are quickly visible. Shiny surfaces need to be cleaned more often than matt or rough surfaces.Timeless surface designs made of metal or glass are simple, elegant and look classy. But even with plastic housings, you don't have to make any compromises in terms of design. Many manufacturers offer buttons in acrylic or in a brushed or satined metal look.Which manufacturer of multiple operator panels is recommended? At the eibabo® technology store, we stock high-quality multiple control devices from numerous well-known manufacturers such as Berker, Busch Jaeger, Gira, Hager, Jung, MDT, Merten, Metz, Peha, Thermokon, Warema and Zumtobel. Ceiling-/wall luminaire - Looking for the perfect lamp? In this catalog you can expect a huge selection of different ceiling lights and wall lights at top conditions. You're sure to find what you're looking for here - whether you prefer modern LED technology or love the charming retro look.Wall lights and ceiling lights - atmospheric or functional lighting for living rooms and work areasIn almost all living areas, commercial spaces or offices, ceiling lights and wall lights provide the basic lighting. The position on the ceiling is ideal for distributing the light evenly throughout the room. This makes life more comfortable on dark days or allows you to work at night. But which lamp should you choose, since there is an almost endless choice? We would like to make your decision easier with a small guide.Which wall light or ceiling light is the right one? Before you decide for or against a specific model, you are sure to ask yourself many questions that narrow down the selection. Mostly it is about the appearance of the lamp. Since this selection criterion is very subjective, we do not want to go into more detail at this point. As a specialist for Smart Home and building automation, eibabo® is an online mail order business that focuses on technology. That is why we 'light' the topic here from this angle. In addition to the look, which criteria are still decisive in order to find the right wall light or ceiling light? The place of use: Where do you attach the light? Is the lamp exposed to special conditions (wet rooms, dusty workshop, living room)? Do you have to clean the lamp often?Usage: Do you use the light for many hours every day or only occasionally? The fixture: is the room high enough for a pendant light? What substrate is to be expected (concrete, steel beams, wood)? The light intensity: Are you planning the luminaire as the main lighting? Would you like to create a special mood?Color temperature and color rendering: the color of the light is often crucial. A work area with people requires a different light spectrum than lighting fruit or meat. Warm light is preferred for living rooms. The shape of the light cone: do you need the light to be concentrated (e.g. via spotlights) or should a large area be illuminated? The opportunity to change: Would you like a color change? Would you like to be able to change the direction of the beam angle? Is there a need for expansion later? The lighting technology: Do you prefer conventional light sources? Do these have to be interchangeable? What are the advantages and disadvantages of LEDs? How important is power consumption?Smart home integration: will the light become part of the building automation? What conditions are in place or need to be created? Wall lights and ceiling lights for offices and workplacesEfficient and fatigue-free work is also a question of the right light. Working on a computer or studying files over the course of a long workday can cause eyestrain. It is therefore important that the light can be adapted to changing conditions. Large-area light strips or grid lights are usually used for professional applications. Such lighting can be found, for example, in hotels and restaurants or conference rooms, in shops and other commercially used rooms.Already knew? The lighting of office workplaces is regulated in the European standard DIN EN 12464-1. It should serve the health and safety of people at their workplace and ensure optimal visual performance and the best possible visual comfort. In Germany, the Workplaces Ordinance and an occupational health and safety rule for lighting also apply. Other countries have their own regulations. It doesn't matter whether your workplace is in an open-plan office or whether you work from home most of the time. Good lighting increases the feel-good factor during working hours. In other words: The lighting must be suitable for all the tasks that arise in the office and must be selected accordingly. This includes working on the screen as well as writing and reading texts at the desk. TIP:Additional lighting is also required for screen work. The stark contrast between a bright screen and a dark room strains the eyes. When choosing the right lights for the workplace, pay attention to the following things:The illuminance at the workplace is given in lux (lumens per m²). Depending on the type of activity, 500 to 1,500 lux are recommended. The power of a lamp is usually stated on its packaging. The color temperature of light is given in Kelvin. A color temperature of 3,300 to 5,300 Kelvin is recommended for office workplaces. In the industrial sector, workshops and the like, it may be over 5,300 Kelvin. This light is similar to daylight, has a higher proportion of blue and activates the biorhythm. The color rendering can influence the purchase decision. The Color Rendering Index (CRI) says something about how natural the colors of an illuminated object appear. This is therefore a quality feature for a light source and is important, for example, in the food industry or the fashion industry.A lamp should not dazzle, neither directly nor indirectly. On the one hand one speaks of physiological glare, which causes an actual disturbance of the visual function, and on the other hand of psychological glare. This is a purely subjective and individual disturbance.Avoid flickering lights. Surely you know this from a defective fluorescent tube. Other light sources also flicker, mostly unnoticed and at high frequency. Our body perceives this constant alternation of light and dark. This affects, among other things, the ability to concentrate.Furthermore, the luminance and the direction of the light can be interesting parameters for determining an optimal lamp for the workplace.   Wall lights and ceiling lights for the living areaThe rules are not as strict for the living area, but many of the criteria mentioned can also be applied to private use. Here, the place of use is one of the determining factors for or against a particular model. And the influence of optics plays a much more important role than in the professional environment.Image: Zumtobel LED recessed ceiling light EP 1200-840For living rooms and sleeping areas, lights are usually chosen to match the furnishings. With classic models, standard lamps are to be used, and you can decide individually about their brightness and light color. In functional rooms such as kitchens, bathrooms and dining rooms, rows of spotlights are often used instead of individual lights. Recessed spotlights or LED recessed light points give the room a pleasant flair. The big advantage is that you can emphasize or stage individual areas of the respective room. For example, if you like to cook, there should be enough spotlights above the worktop to provide sufficient light. Beautiful pictures on the wall look even more interesting if they are directly illuminated. In the bathroom, recessed spotlights at head height illuminate your face without casting large shadows. This makes skin care and shaving easier. It is important to ensure that these not only produce a pleasant light, but are also suitable for the humid room climate. Are wall lights and ceiling lights with LED technology recommended?Basically, LED technology is a modern way of generating light. Over the years, this has almost completely replaced conventional light bulbs. The Light Emitting Diode (Light Emitting Diode) is cheap, durable and consumes little energy in comparison. Almost all manufacturers of lamps and lights offer LED wall lights and LED ceiling lights. For example, it is possible to use large floodlights or floodlights as ceiling lights. Hundreds of LEDs illuminate the room very evenly. In terms of color temperature, LEDs were limited in the first few years and emitted an unnaturally cold light. In the meantime, however, the light of modern LEDs is comparable to the 'old' light bulbs. RGB LEDs generate light across the entire color spectrum. Thanks to the LED light threads (filaments), warm colors can be generated that correspond to those of fire or candles. In the form of a wall light, these variants are suitable, for example, for atmospheric accentuation of masonry or living areas.Advantages of LED technologycheap and energy efficientlong lifetimeenvironmentally friendly recyclableflexible in structure and arrangementspace savingColor change possible Disadvantages of LED technologyhigher initial investmentonly electronically dimmablethe color rendering often seems artificialPermanently installed LEDs cannot be replaced if they are defective  TIP:If you have a choice, opt for LEDs over incandescent, CFL, or fluorescent tubes. Please refer to the product description to find out whether an LED wall light or LED ceiling light has the advantages or disadvantages mentioned. If you opt for a light with a conventional design, you don't have to do without LED technology either. In the eibabo® shop you can get LED light sources in the form of classic light bulbs, which you can use in their place in the socket of your light.Which material is recommended for my wall or ceiling light? In addition to individual taste, the choice of material for a wall light or ceiling light can be based on pragmatic criteria. In the typical living area, there are hardly any restrictions. Anything that pleases is allowed. Plastics in smooth shapes are usually easy to clean. Lights with a washable housing are best suited for use in the basement or hobby room. Some of these models are unbreakable or additionally protected against mechanical influences by brackets. It is better not to choose materials such as wood, copper or brass if the lamp will be exposed to the weather or higher humidity. Metals can discolor or rust. What do I have to pay attention to with ceiling and wall lights for outdoor use?Even outdoors, wall lights and ceiling lights are not only decorative, but also practical. When the entrance to a home is well lit at night, there is less chance of tripping and searching for the keyhole. A pleasantly lit terrace invites you to linger. But regardless of whether you decide on a subtle or eye-catching design, please pay attention to the suitability for outdoor use. A look at the product description or the information on the IP protection class can help here. All lights that you install on the house wall or on the ceiling of the entrance area must at least correspond to protection class IP44. These are protected against splashing water from all directions. The first digit describes the protection against foreign bodies, the second digit the protection against water. The higher both digits, the more protection is offered. An IP 67 luminaire, for example, withstands jets of water and brief immersion. What are the advantages of ceiling or wall lights with motion detectors?Motion detectors are useful. They detect people in the dark and then switch on the wall light or ceiling light. This ensures security in the house entrance, in the stairwell, in the driveway or in the garage after dark. Motion detectors are also useful when you don't have your hands free to operate a light switch. At eibabo® you can get ceiling lights and wall lights with and without motion detectors from all well-known manufacturers such as Hera, Philips light PLS, Regiolux, Ridi lights, RZB Zimmermann, Trilux, Zumtobel light, Schmitz lights, Schuch light, IDV, Böhmer, Eglo , ESYLUX, Briloner, BEGA Gantenbrink, Pracht, Performance in Light, Brumberg lights, Hufnagel, Trio lights, Hufnagel, Peill+Putzler, Neuhaus lights, EVN lighting technology, Legrand (BT).  Catalogue content:In this eibabo® catalogue Luminaires > Ceiling-/wall luminaire you will find items from the following product groups:Item overview:Bedside lampCabinet lightingDisinfection lightFabric lightFlat PolymeroFunctional lightHall lightingHandleless profileHeadlightHigh bay lightHigh temperature lampLightingLine of lightMicroprism lampMultilumenOpal lightOutdoor display lightOval lampPicture lightQuick assembly systemRecessed frame lightRecessed wallwasherSports hall lightSquare lightSurface-mounted downlightTable lightUnderpassWallwasherfrom the following manufacturers:Manufacturer overview catalogue Ceiling-/wall luminaire:AbalightAlbert LeuchtenArcliteAura LightBEGA GantenbrinkBrilonerBrumbergBöhmerDianaEgloEthermaEVNFabas LuceFischer & HonselFKBGiraHelestra LeuchtenHeraHufnagelIlluminaKonstsmideLEDVANCELegrand BticinoLegrand SEKOLichtlineLTSLudwigNeuhaus LeuchtenNobileNorkaOligoOpple LightingPerformance in LightPhilips LichtRegioluxRidi-LeuchtenRopagRZBScharnberger+Has.Schmitz-LeuchtenSchuchSensopartSitecoStahlSteinelSun CracksTriluxTrio-LeuchtenWaldmannWibre
Downlight - Are you interested in downlights, recessed wall lights or LED spotlights for installation in a ceiling? What options do you have for setting accents in your room? Find out here what the differences are and what you should look out for when buying. In the eibabo technology store you can get downlights in different shapes and sizes, as complete recessed lights or as individual chassis. Some bulbs are included in the scope of delivery. What are downlights?Downlights are subtle lights that can have a big impact. They are ideal for all rooms in which accentuated or area lighting is required without the luminaire itself being the focus. Downlights are installed in the ceiling and create a stylish and effective ambience. The difference to classic recessed spotlights lies in the relatively wide beam angle.Where can you use downlights and recessed spotlights?Downlights or recessed spotlights are available in different versions. These can be perfectly adapted to the respective environment. There are models with a round or square frame, different light colors and different light intensities. So you can find exactly the lighting that suits your space and your needs. Use downlights for general room lighting. For example, they can be installed in the kitchen above the stove or worktop. Downlights are also a good choice in hallways and stairwells, as they ensure optimal illumination of the route. In rooms with high ceilings, such as offices or hotels, downlights ensure pleasant and even illumination without glare. Downlights are also ideal in the area above the washbasin with mirror. TIP:If you want to illuminate an area, you prefer downlights. If you want to set accents, use recessed spotlights. Recessed spotlights are often integrated into pieces of furniture and produce a narrow cone of light with a sharper contrast between light and shadow. Recessed spotlights are ideal for illuminating pictures in galleries or for emphasizing dark areas. Recessed spotlights are easy to install and in many cases replace conventional pendant lights. Due to their compact size and the unobtrusive design, downlights and recessed spotlights adapt perfectly to the environment and turn every room into a stylish place. What should be considered before buying downlights and recessed spotlights?Downlights and recessed spotlights are permanently attached to the building. These cannot be easily removed like a floor lamp or desk lamp. So plan carefully. Subsequent changes can be complex.Mounting, installation depth and fire protectionWith flush mounting, the light is built into the wall or ceiling and only the cover frame remains visible. Individual lights and series built-in lights can be used. The installation depth varies depending on the design. There are flat models that are only 1 to 2 cm deep and deeper models that are 6 cm or more. Pay attention to the heat development. Classic lamps get hot. Good rear ventilation is used for fire protection. Heat development is significantly lower with LED lights. locationIf you want to install recessed lights in the bathroom, sauna or laundry room, they should be suitable for use in humid environments. Please refer to the product description to see whether your desired model meets the necessary requirements. Pay particular attention to the IP protection class. Image: EVN PC650N91602 P-LED recessed ceiling lightpower supplyIn the case of permanently installed downlights, power is usually supplied via the house installation. Would you like to opt for a high-voltage system or a low-voltage system? Depending on this, external or integrated power supplies are required. Number of lights and positioningFirst of all, you should think about which areas of the room you want to illuminate. The positioning of the recessed spotlights depends on the existing incidence of light through windows and other light sources. The number of lights is determined by the type and size of the room. As a rule, you install at least 2 to 3 recessed spotlights per square meter of room area. Make sure that the recessed spotlights and ceiling spotlights are not too close together. Otherwise the light would not be evenly distributed and shadows may form. The beam angle is also important for ceiling spotlights, as this determines how the light is distributed in the room. A narrow angle provides direct lighting, while a wide angle spreads the light more diffusely. Depending on the atmosphere you want, you should choose the right beam angle. Different light needsSome conventional lamps and LED recessed spotlights are dimmable. These offer the advantage that you can adjust the brightness depending on the situation. The brightness of the lighting should be selected so that it is comfortable for the desired atmosphere. Make sure that there are minimum legal requirements when it comes to lighting workplaces, for example. The color of the lighting should also be chosen carefully. Lighter colors like white and blue can brighten up a room and make it look friendlier or create a cool, fresh atmosphere. Warm colors such as yellow or orange are ideal for creating a cozy and cozy atmosphere. Experiment with different colors to find the right lighting for your space. flexibilityFixed lights are less flexible than other light sources. But here, too, you have the option of varying the direction of the beam angle using swiveling inserts. What advantages do LED downlights and LED recessed spotlights offer? You can install LED recessed spotlights and LED downlights almost anywhere. These are compact and provide a pleasant and stylish atmosphere in every home as general room lighting or as accent lighting. Many LED recessed spotlights are dimmable, so you can adjust the light intensity to your liking. There are now hardly any limits when it comes to the color of light. The biggest advantage of LED technology is its energy efficiency. Compared to conventional light bulbs, LEDs consume very little energy and save money. High-quality LEDs have a long service life and do not need to be replaced as often. Please noteThe illuminant is already integrated in many LED recessed spotlights. If you want to influence the brightness and light color individually, please choose a model with a changeable lamp.Recessed LED lights, where you can change the bulb, usually have a GU10 socket. When buying the lamp, make sure it has a G10 base and that the specified maximum power is observed.Should I opt for low-voltage technology for downlights and recessed spotlights? Is high-voltage technology dangerous and is low-voltage technology better? Whether LED or conventional light sources, there is the right technology for every taste when it comes to downlights and recessed spotlights. Both high-voltage technology and low-voltage technology have advantages and disadvantages. Incidentally, you have not only been faced with this choice since LEDs came into existence. Even with the halogen lamps you could choose between 230V and 12V. What is high voltage?High voltage is not high voltage. According to the general definition, high voltage begins at 1,000 volts. Low-voltage recessed spotlights are mostly operated with a voltage of 12 volts, some LEDs work with an operating voltage of 24V. With regard to the actual light output, there are no significant differences.high voltage:no extra transformer is required, LEDs have an integrated power supplychanging between LED and conventional is easyhigher power loss and more waste heat shortens the service life of the lampsthe safety requirements are higher (fire protection, installation) low voltage:LEDs have less power loss and higher efficiencythere is less waste heat12V low voltage is less dangerous for wet rooms and outdoor facilitiesa suitable power supply unit is requiredhigher planning effort for more complex installations Which of the two technologies you choose is a question of personal taste, the location and the existing technical requirements.  Catalogue content:In this eibabo® catalogue Luminaires > Downlight/spot/floodlight you will find items from the following product groups:Item overview:A surface lightAccent lightingArea lightingBuild-up potCarrying caseColor changeCompact spotlightDepartment store lightEntrance lightHeadlight bulbInfrared sensorInterior lampInterior lightLightstreamLow-voltage spotlightMounted spotlightOutdoor lightsOutdoor spotlightPatio lightPower Rail SpotlightRecessed ceiling spotlightSpotlightSpotlightHeadlampSpotlightsHeadlightsFloodlightSquare lightStarry skyToledoFlatWallwasherfrom the following manufacturers:Manufacturer overview catalogue Downlight:AbalightArcliteAura LightBachmannBarthelmeBaulmannBEGA GantenbrinkBrilonerBrumbergBöhmerEgloESYLUXEVNFischer & HonselHeraIDViiMIlluminaKonstsmideLEDVANCELTSOligoOpple LightingPaulmannPerformance in LightPhilips LichtRegioluxRidi-LeuchtenRZBSchmitz-LeuchtenSignify PLSSitecoSLVSun CracksTriluxWitte + SutorZumtobelZumtobel Group
Pressure switch - Would you like to control switching processes in a technical system that are triggered by changes in the pressure of a gaseous or liquid medium? Then you need a pressure switch. Here you can learn a little more about the history, the tasks and the operating principle of pressure switches. Inexpensive and reliable pressure switches for switching valves or pumps are available here in the eibabo® online shop. Choose a model that suits your system from our range. What are pressure switches?Pressure switches are used to automate a pump or compressor. The basic principle of these switching devices is that connected devices:switched on when the pressure falls below a set limitoff when the upper pressure limit is reached Image: Eaton MCSN11-V pressure switchPressure switches have many names. The following terms are very common:Differential pressure switch, pressure limiter, pressure controller, pump relay, water pressure switch, air pressure switch or compressor switchThe devices are used, for example, in liquid tanks or gas tanks in which the filling level or the internal pressure of the medium contained therein is to be monitored. This ensures that certain values are not exceeded or fallen below. Alternatively, when a critical value is reached, switching processes are triggered in order to restore the desired or programmed normal state. A distinction is made between mechanical and electronic pressure switches, which offer individual advantages depending on the desired area of application. The history of the pressure switchIn the past, pumps and compressors were switched on and off mechanically and required constant human intervention. In the early 1930s, August Frede Maschinenfabrik (today: Condor-Werke) developed a simple and functional device that was equipped with a membrane and worked according to a spring principle. This first pressure switch should automate the switching on and off of pumps or compressors. In 1935, the company received the world's first patent for a diaphragm pressure controller for the automatic control of pumps. To this day, Condor-Werke is one of the global market leaders in the development and production of pressure switches. What are the advantages of a pressure switch?A pressure switch allows full automation of the start-up and shut-down process, eliminating the need for human involvement in managing the pump or compressor. An automatic shutdown when the upper pressure limit is reached guarantees the safety of the respective system. If pumps or compressors only work within a certain pressure range due to intelligent switching processes, energy costs can be significantly reduced and resources saved. TIPBe sure to note the installation location and, accordingly, the moisture protection of the pressure switch. In addition, pressure switches are very reliable and durable. The mechanical pressure switchDepending on the design, pressure switches can work mechanically or electronically. Mechanical type devices are more common due to their reliability, durability and simplicity. The mechanical pressure switch can be installed directly on site with minimal effort.NoticeHigh-quality pushbutton switches have non-stick silver-plated contacts, a high-strength diaphragm and fine-tuning capabilities. Especially with cheap goods from the Far East, the lack of these properties can lead to failures and unreliable switching operations. Here in the eibabo® online shop you only get reliable quality goods from well-known brands. The functional principle of a mechanical pressure switch is essentially based on the combination of a membrane with a block of adjustable springs. The pressure of the working medium is transmitted through the diaphragm to the working pressure setting springs by means of nuts or screws. A differential pressure setting spring measures the value of this compression. If the compression of the working pressure setting springs exceeds a certain value due to the pressure of the diaphragm, the differential pressure setting spring opens the contacts in the contact block and the pump or compressor is switched off. When the pressure drops, the tension in the springs relaxes again and the compression decreases. The mains contacts then close again and the connected device is switched on again. Depending on the version of the pressure switch, there may be additional outlets for connecting a pressure gauge and safety valves. The electronic pressure switchAn electronic pressure switch is actually a complete pump controller. As a rule, these devices include elements for soft starting, protection against dry running, as well as ways of setting the upper and lower thresholds of the operating mode of the pump or compressor. The advantages compared to a mechanical pressure switch are the smaller dimensions and the setting principle. Sensitivity adjustment screws are located on the electronic pressure switch body. How do I protect myself from my system running dry?The cause of failures in the operation of pumps or compressors is often the lack of the required working medium in the system. This problem is annoying and affects the reliability of all components. Idling leads to overheating or damage to parts and the associated failure of the entire system. To avoid this, when choosing a pressure switch, please consider the characteristics and allowable ratings for the operation of your pump or compressor. You avoid the danger of idling as follows:Buy a device with dry-running protection. These devices are a bit more expensive, but respond very effectively to pressure drops.Invest in the installation of a controller that not only monitors the pressure. This would, for example, also switch on the pump if the actual values fall below the set target values. How do I choose a pressure switch? When choosing a pressure switch, it is necessary to determine the type of pressure switch, the required functionality and the operating pressure:Should the switch monitor the pressure of liquids or gases?Does the switch have to be able to withstand chemical compounds? In which key figures is the working pressure range? How is the power supply designed for the switch (voltage, number of phases, current)? What sizes are required for the flange connections? What additional components and options are desired? Examples of this would be: start button, thermal relay to protect the electric motor, dry running protection relay for pumps, relief valve to make starting compressors easier and so on. When installing a high-quality pump, please remember that the pressure switch should also be of the same quality. This is the only way to ensure reliable operation. by the wayThe manufacturers of high-quality devices carry out long-term tests with the pressure switches in the laboratory in order to guarantee more than half a million switching operations. Use our detailed search to select your pressure switch. There you can precisely set the parameters of the switch you want and filter accordingly.  Catalogue content:In this eibabo® catalogue Low-voltage industrial components > Pressure switch you will find items from the following product groups:Item overview:Compressor switchCylinder switchDifferential pressure switchPressostatPressure limiterPressure monitoring devicePressure regulatorPressure sensorPressure sensorsPressure switchPressure transducerPressure transmitterTwo-position controllerVacuum monitorVacuum switchfrom the following manufacturers:Manufacturer overview catalogue Pressure switch:Alre-itBaumerBourdon-HaenniCondorDoepkeEatonElsterEndress + HauserHeliosHoneywell FemaIfm ElectronicIpf ElectronicJumoMaicoNE-MARockwellSchneider ElectricSickSMC Deutschland
Toaster - Toasters come in many varieties. The choice for or against a particular model depends on the needs you have for toasting bread. For a single household, a compact one-slice toaster may be sufficient. Two-slot toasters make more sense for couples, and families should go for larger ones that can toast four or more slices of toast at once. You should also pay attention to the length of the slits. If you would like to toast black bread or farmhouse bread from time to time, we recommend a long-slot toaster from the eibabo online shop. Most models also have a bun attachment. With it you can easily give rolls, bagels and croissants the desired bite. This is usually very quick and you save electricity because the large oven does not have to be turned on. The sandwich toasters, which are constructed similar to waffle irons, are a special form. This means that toasted and folded toast slices can be browned from above and below at the same time while the topping heats up or melts.Catalogue content:In this eibabo® catalogue Small domestic appliances > Toaster you will find items from the following product groups:Item overview:2-slice toaster4 slice toaster4-slice toasterBread roll warmerBun bakerBun toasterCold wall toasterCompact toasterElectronic toasterKitchen utensilLong slot toasterMini toasterReversible toasterRoll bakerRotating toasterSandwich makerSandwich toasterSoft lift toasterToast machineToasterToaster/mini ovenToaster/sandwich makerToaster/sandwich toasterToasterSandwich ToasterTwo slot toasterWaffle makerfrom the following manufacturers:Manufacturer overview catalogue Toaster:Beko Grundig SDABomannBomann DABosch HausgeräteBosch SDABraun HausgeräteBraun SDACloerFakir SDAGraefGrundig SDAKrupsMoulinexOmegaPrincessRommelsbacherRowentaRussel HobbsSeverinStebaTefalUnoldVarta Cons.Russell
